Overturning "constitutional" protection that legally should not exist doesn't mean you aren't against that protection on a state level. It just means that those matters are legally up to the states and not the federal government, giving more control to the actual people. In the matter of things like contraceptives, no conservative I know is against that, but liberals love fearmongering.

If you don't think the Republicans are going to pursue a national ban on both abortion and contraceptives next, you're either willfully ignorant or stupid.

Ask a hundred conservatives if they want to ban contraceptives and get back to me. It's clear you don't actually understand any conservative ideals or beliefs. It's like you've only seen a boogie man presented to you instead of like, any actual conservative lol. It's actually a little sad. Like, I'm telling you, for a fact, that only a very small majority of republicans care about contraceptives either way.

It doesn't matter what individual conservatives want, when that has been the stated goal of their elected leaders.

And yes, as someone who is gay and trans those individual conservatives may as well be boogeymen to me, because they literally want me dead.

Who managed to convince you of such a heinous lie?

I'll take, "Things people falsely claim to appear more reasonable" for 500. No, you don't, obviously. As any conservative can tell you.

Now you're just flat out lying. There's no way in hell you're going to tell me what I do or don't listen to because you would have no clue would you?

I'm telling you in my own words as simply and plainly as I can that I listen to conservative Christian radio on a daily basis. If you want to try to prove me wrong, go ahead, prove me wrong.

Oh, I meant that you clearly don't understand conservative ideas. Of course either way I still strongly implied that you don't actually listen to conservative radio or anything lol. What do you listen to exactly? I'd like to listen along.

"I meant that you clearly don't understand conservative ideas"

Not every conservative has the same ideas or shares the same viewpoints, so you would have to be more specific

"Of course either way I still strongly implied that you don't actually listen to conservative radio"

Then you're wrong

"What do you listen to exactly? I'd like to listen along"

I'm confused. Is this an attempt at a "gotcha" moment? I wasn't aware conservatives aren't allowed to find anime memes funny? I didn't get that memo in my "How to be a conservative" Handbook. Everything I say, post, and enjoy has to be related directly to conservatism? *insert Jar Jar Binks meme here*

Of course you're confused. As your profile shows, you're only in middle school. That's the point.

I'm confused because you showed me a meme I posted? I don't know what the purpose of that was. Like, what were you trying to say? I don't want to strawman your genius argument. It's clearly far above mortal understanding. One might jump to the conclusion that no point was made at all. But surely you're smarter than that.

But yeah I hope they do pursue recognizing the constitutional rights of the unborn nationwide.

What you're proposing will only result in millions of homeless children and women getting arrested for miscarriages. You're not pro-life, you're pro forced-birth.

And the solution is to kill dozens of millions of unborn people. For some reason I don't think that makes sense lmao. Come on, do better. I'm proposing that people should not be murdered, and if that is inconvenient to some people, then so be it. There are so many organizations dying to help mothers, and I think even more should be done to support them. But even if I didn't. Saying I'm not actually pro-life because I don't support ending the life of millions and millions of unborn children is just as silly as it seems.

Do you believe people with unintended pregnancies are entitled to paid family leave? Do you think the children are entitled to things like free healthcare and childhood education? If not, then you don't actually care about children. You just want to control people's uteruses.

People are entitled to their lives, nothing more. Saying that people won't fund their entire lives that it's okay to murder a child is so far of a leap I can no longer even see you. It's such a stupid thing to say that because just people acknowledge that they aren't obligated to pay for someone's life expenses that that means it's obvious that the unborn child deserves to die because of that. There's a huge difference between saying that someone shouldn't be murdered and saying they shouldn't be obligated to pay for their entire lives or face government consequences. I can't think of another argument that misses the point 9f the entire country-wide debate quite as profoundly as the "Oh you don't want the government to force you at gunpoint to pay for other people's expenses? Ha, I guess it's right to murder unborn children then. I'm so smart." argument. Come on, you know how ridiculous that is.

Where does the Constitution say that fetuses have rights?

Due to being people, they have rights. You can look at a little baby, limbs forming, heartbeat, etc you can look at that and say "well it's not REALLY a person" and that you should have the right to literally tear it's limbs off killing it. But you are only lying to yourself. What did an unborn baby ever do to you?

"Due to being people, they have rights"

Where does the Constitution say they're people?

"You can look at a little baby, limbs forming, heartbeat, etc you can look at that and say "well it's not REALLY a person" and that you should have the right to literally tear it's limbs off killing it"

I never said that. And the vast majority of abortions occur well before it gets to that stage of development.

"What did an unborn baby ever do to you?"

If you're claiming that I think abortion should be legal because an unborn baby ever did something to me, then that doesn't make any sense.
