What is a lie? Is it saying something untrue? Can I lie if no one is around to hear it? Better yet, can I make you believe something FALSE by telling you only out-of-context truths? Lying is no longer suggesting the sky is purple. Lying is telling you facts in a way that makes you feel bad and react in a way that benefits one group over another. Joseph Goebbels would be so proud of the modern Democrat Party.
For example, Biden can't say things that are easily disproven. Like saying Exxon made 120 trillion in profits, or they poisoned baby food, or they drowned puppies in oil for fun. But he can say they made $23 billion. So what, that is only 1/3 what Microsoft made right? But you didn't make that much money last year. And Biden pushed lockdowns and ecoterrorism agendas that played havoc with oil production, resulting in record high prices and inflation. And now that gas is $5-$6 a gallon (again thanks to Biden), saying an oil company is making big profits gives the connotations they did something to orchestrate these prices. It sounds like they are doing something wrong WITHOUT accusinging them. Its like OJ Simpson saying he didn't kill his wife, while later saying "here is how I would hypothetically murder my wife" in shocking and incredibly accurate detail.
And liberals, before you say there are leases not being used.... Oil leases take years to spin up into profitable patches thanks to endless lawsuits by pro-green lawyers, native organizations, left leaning courts, and so on. Plus this administration declared war on oil on DAY 1. Big oil is not going to invest in Biden's lip service only to be stabbed in the back when the voters are panicking about Biden's next disaster. Joe Biden saying he wants oil production to increase would be no different than 1939 Berlin trying to feign intrest in helping Jewish Germans start a business. Biden has an irrational hatred of fossil fuels. Which speech did you forget about? I can find many where he clearly states his ecoterrorism agenda. But now Democrats are in trouble and Biden will say anything because he has his own versions of the Brownshirts lined up to do his dirty work behind the scenes. Biden does not want more oil, he want you to think he wants more oil. He can survive $10 a gallon gas. You can't. This is a war of monetary attrition and you have no cash to fight it with.
