And I had arguments with some Dems about this. But the next week I had to argue with someone who argues very much like you, and they demanded I show them the article I had found (which I was talking with another Dem about just days before then). But the article was nowhere to be found. I even hacked into my browser history and couldn’t find it. And articles about that still exist, but they didn’t get into the whole thing like that one did. Well if a state government doesn’t, who does? And shouldn’t figuring out truth be more valuable than who presented it? This is not something a professional court does. Talk about “show me some proof.” They literally threw it out unread. And then when Republicans started complaining about it, they replied, “We should have briefly looked them over, but we would’ve thrown them out anyway.” That means that they already held their opinion before the proof was even presented. This suggests that the court values something more than they value the actual truth getting out (likely either money or just flat being overwhelmingly anti-Trump in the first place).

Well you can just “say” they haven’t, it doesn’t change a thing. But here’s some basic logic. People are easily manipulatable by identity. They want to be a part of a group. And if you pit two groups against each other so drastically that they cannot hear one another because staying committed to their group overrides their desire to know truth (if they even have that desire), then you can sneak and take over one side of the spectrum and dupe EVERYONE on that side into supporting you without knowing what the heck they’re pushing. No, I never said I would definitely believe it if there was no proof. Did you believe Trump incited the mob before any “proof” was found about it?
