What Red Flag really stands for

Red flag laws are common sense. Smh.

Not so fast. If your neighbor is a libtard and they just don't like you and the fact that you have firearms, and maybe that your dog pisses in their yard from time to time, they can fabricate some bullshit about you and report you. If you local law enforcement is also run by libtards, there go your 2nd amendment RIGHTS.

The second amendment is trash anyway. And no, it doesn't take away your rights, because it only applies to a "well-regulated militia", which I don't think people who cry "SeCoNd AmEnDmEnT" are part of.

Okay, then why not have it repealed? That's exactly what those in favor of gun control should do, if they had an ounce of integrity and any motivation whatsoever. But they don't. They're attempting to use legislation to circumvent the Constitution, which just doesn't work in this country.

The founders gave folks like you who disagree with any Constitutional amendment a perfectly valid way to reverse them.

So why not just do it?

I think one simple concept that eludes those like you who feel like you do about the 2nd amendment is that the Constitution is primarily put in place for two simple reasons. 1) define what govt is, structurally, meaning which branch does what, and which checks and balances are put in place to prevent one branch from going crazy and attempting to circumvent the other branch's power (like attempting to legislate around a Constitutional amendment) and 2) to protect we the people from the tyranny of the govt.

So there's a reason the founders made the right to keep and bear arms the 2nd amendment, right after freedom of speech. They didn't make it the 10th amendment, the 7th amendment, or even the 4th amendment. They made it the 2nd amendment for a reason, because they considered this right to be very important, and of course they were right.

And btw, the militia argument has not ever worked from a legal standpoint. Nice of you to bring it up tho, as it illustrates how ill-informed you are on this subject. Next you'll probably try to tell me it's illegal to yell "fire" in a crowded theater! You guys are a never ending source of material for laughter!

I can't reverse it because I'm not American. I'm Canadian. That's why I see the second amendment as trash.

Okay then, you're entitled to your opinion. However, you might lead with that, so I wouldn't waste my time responding to your inane Canadian point of view. Alternatively, you could just keep it zipped; I don't comment on the crazy shit that goes on up in Canadia, now do I?

(But since we're already knee deep into it...) OTOH, if you really felt that strongly about it, as a citizen of our beloved northern neighbor (you guys are citizens, right? you're not subjects of the Queen of England or any dumb crap like that, are you?) you might want to convince the demotards / libtards in this country to repeal the 2nd amendment. It's the only way the anti-2A crowd will ever be able to legally obtain what they really want, which is govt confiscation of private property in the form of guns.

The anti-2A crowd here would probably really appreciate your insights, since you should be familiar with how to achieve something like that, considering that kind of Gestapo-like tactic is okay with little Justin running the show.

I can give this wonderful advice since I'm confident repealing the 2nd Amendment wouldn't stand a chance, because here in America we believe in freedom from an oppressive govt, so much so that it's ingrained in our Constitution.
