Makes me wonder what the propaganda is for these countries to cause people come up the US is. The trek north has to be filled with danger. I still wonder how many people get lost along the way and die. Then there is the 'debt' owed by these people to coyotes and drug cartels to get them to the US.

Yes . . . and mostly because they cannot make a decent living in their native country and there is not upward educational mobility or possibility of increasing socio-economic standing. There is always revolution, but somehow the result always leads to a leader and a government more like Castro than like George Washington.
