One of the central jobs of a free country is the protection of a minority against a bullying majority. But, a majority of Americans support equal access to voting rights, the continuation of Roe v. Wade, marriage equality/gender rights and increased protection against gun violence. So, you are simply wrong. Your "values," are important and your right to have them is important. You just don't have a right to force them on others who have different, yet equally important, values.
