This seems to be a pretty common attitude among women in general. I'm 5' 6", and I run into this attitude/hypocrisy time and time again. It's ok for women to be as picky as they want about height, and even be needlessly cruel toward short guys, but then they lose their shit when men have weight preferences or race/ethnic/skin color preferences.
Women also have a lot of cosmetic surgery options, including ones to modify weight and body shape (such as liposuction). Whereas a decent, affordable surgery to increase height after puberty is still a mystery for the medical community.
