You believe in religious fanaticism, where science and reason are thrown out the window in favor of radical adherence to religion. If you only believe in science that leads to a whole host of other arguably worse problems, but without reason, you have no way of judging outside of the scriptures. Without science, there would be no electricity, no computers, no modern medicine, no sanitation, no cars, no discovery of the Millard reaction which is the basis of modern food, and no discovery of the Haber-Bosch process which is how fertilizer is made which is how we grow food. Now to the discussion at hand, you have no understanding of the evolutionary process. The evolutionary process takes generations of work. It's not that you start with nothing, then end off with everything. When God made the Earth, it's not that the small is small and the big is big. The fossil evidence proves that the earth has changed a lot, but not in a vacuum, God made the system and the result is his doing. God is an orderly father, chaos, and spontaneousness are not in his plan, science is his way of letting us understand the physical. The Church and Scriptures are his way of telling us the sacred.
