Hypothetically speaking, the man would be in his right to have a building condemned for Imminent domain as said building would generate millions in tax dollars and benefit all residents. Moreover, hypothetically, the man would offer her double the FMV of the property. Hypothetically, I would want a man like that in power; someone who could empower state and local politicians to attend to his agenda. Such a leader, hypothetically, would be an amazing leader.

Also, hypothetically speaking, a smart Johnny would offer the Widow a ton of money that would let her buy a better house and be set for life. What this meme is talking about is a Silent Movie/Snidely Whiplash scenario which I'm pretty sure is illegal nowadays.

Whether she won or not is irrelevant to whether you do or do not support one citizen trampling another citizen's rights of ownership.  In any case, it was a rhetorical question intended to distill your stated position down to its bare bones for anyone not quite certain what was happening.  I also wanted to see if you'd try to deflect.  And you did.



But let's circle back to something else you said in your initial comment:

The leader does not empower state and local officials; state and local officials' power comes from the law.  What you're describing is a dictator.  I have to say...I did not expect you to openly profess to desiring a dictatorship.
