The problem with pride month is that it only focuses on lgbtq+ people who already have rights in the west

The problem with July 4 is that it only focuses on America where we already have constitutional rights and whatnot. Why don't we spare a thought for Africa on our national day?

People have been showing their support for Ukrainians for these past few months, so in the west we do in fact think of others than ourselves, in
fact we think of others so much that we recently sent $40 billion in foreign aid to the Ukraine. Maybe we should extend our care for other people even further by raising awareness for LGBTQ minorities in countries where they don't have rights instead of acting like "oppressed" snowflakes in countries where LGBTQ minorities do have rights and by the way, isn't pride month supposed to celebrate ALL LGBTQ minorities including LGBTQ minorities of color and regardless of nationality? Yet pride month is only celebrated in predominantly white western countries where LGBTQ minorities do have rights while ignoring LGBTQ minorities of color who live in countries where they don't have rights.
