I want to restrict access to weapons by those not able to safely own and use them. Get a DUI and your access to cars will be impinged in some way. Maybe you did not kill someone this time. But, I would prefer that you don't have a next time. want people who are addicted to weapons to feel external limits on how they can legally use them.

It isn't just traditional Liberals like me and the Far Left who see the danger in easy access to assault weapons. Richard Small, a Republican-Texan, who supports the 2nd Amendment and gun rights turned his AR-15 over to his local police department. Mr. Small still sees himself as a gun advocate, just not a defender of this weapon. Dan Beers of Oregon is giving up all of his guns because, "Guns are not as precious to us and nor are my Second Amendment rights as the lives of my children in school."

You have no right to take away somebody's rights based on the Constitution because you don't like it...

The Supreme Court has ruled that the Second Amendment does not give everyone the right to possess all weapons systems under all circumstances. This weapon was outlawed until the 1980s and can be regulated again. The majority of people want something done to stop this madness.

The limit to First Amendment followed by the courts goes all the way back to Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes. Your right to "Free Speech," ends at my nose. The only thing that has changed recently is an oversized sense of entitlement by some.

The Eighteenth Amendment established Prohibition, which outlawed alcohol. The Twenty-First Amendment repealed the Eighteenth Amendment. It's in the history books that you were supposed to read when you were in school. Has the extreme right-wing established an alternate history? I know you guys are fond of "Alt-Facts," when you don't like reality. Do you wipe history off the books when you don't like what happened?
