These morons think you can walk into a gun shop and 5 minutes later, leave with an AR and 10,000 rounds.

That was my experience, 10 years ago.

Of course, the 10k rounds is exagerated...but this was when Gander mountain was selling them. It was in 2007. I purchased a Remington R-15, and a Remington LRHB-22. Walked out in 30 minutes.

On the Remington R-15, is it the 204 or 223? I’ve got the 223. It was only a 5+1 but aftermarket AR mags bumped that up. My 13 year uses it all the time. The 22LR is a squirrel killer. Nothing special.

That’s no longer the case anymore. There are waiting periods and age limits for almost all guns now. Long rifles are usually the exception because of hunting. Handguns are certainly the rule now.

Oh, the lrhb was (i lost it in a boating accident) nothing more than coyote killer. Quiet. I have an air rifle louder than that thing.

I used to take (once again same boating accident) the R15 hog hunting on a patch of land that was practically an island, a peninsula really. I still go with friends, i just drive the beer cart (wink wink).
