In the wake of the Texas tragedy, a school protection bill put forward by Republicans was blocked by Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Republican Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson and Republican Florida Sen. Rick Scott were denied unanimous consent, by Schumer, for their school protection bill Thursday that would require the Department of Homeland Security to create safety practices for each school to prevent more violence, Fox reported.

It brings more guns into schools. Not the answer to the problem.

There were no armed police at that school... so...

They all stood outside for 40 minutes and listened to the shots, while the shooter killed the kids.

They would not go in to get the shooter. They stood around a listened to him murder each and every child.

Yes... Like I said there were no armed police in the school BEFORE the shooter showed up...

AND the school was on lockdown BEFORE the shooter entered...

It was a stupid teacher that left the door OPEN after the school went on lockdown...

I'm sure while they stood around, they could hear the shooter murdering the children, so the thinking that he was barricaded in an empty classroom is BS. They probably thought he'd commit suicide. A bunch of cowards.
