It is Biblically a sin. No doubt about that.

But it exists in the same way pornography does. It’s sinful Biblically, but it’s not infringing on anyone’s rights. America is run by the Constitution, not the Bible.

Simply stated, things have changed and they didnt expect this to be a problem when they wrote it

It’s based off the Bible, but that doesn’t mean it’s a one-to-one comparison of what it supports.

Plus, the Separation of Church and State thing was put in place because they didn’t want Christianity to be the overpowering theocracy because giving it that much power would corrupt it to the very core.

Still if you are a christian you should stop thinking in human standards.
Human logic says it will become corrupt BUT,
Faith in God should compel you to believe in divine love that transcends all logic

In fact it is a fact that we cannot be perfect.
But we should strive to make it AS close perfect as possible.

But at the same time, it all comes back to what I was saying with the “infringing on others’ rights.” In this country, we’ll need a better excuse for making it illegal other than “the Bible says so.” If you want to make it illegal, you’d have to find some way that it infringes on the rights of others.
