The local grocery store sells 1lb of boar, bison, and deer meat.

Many do, at ridiculous prices. Boar and deer are so over populated that their meat should be selling for .89 cents per lb.

Should be ranching those animals. I don't know if it's still in business but there is/was an ostrich farm about 20-30 minutes from where I live.

my freezers are packed with deer and boar meat, I go hunting often. I was thinking if there was a food shortage in America, why don't our Incredibly competent government offer hunters a stipend for so many hogs killed and donated to meat processing facilities?

You kidding? Government shut down hunters that gave excess game meat to local food pantries. There was nothing wrong the meat ever.

I was being sarcastic about our government being "competent " . I know the simplest solution would escape democrats and liberals alike.
