Well I just feel that the meme should be able to stand on it's own. The tags are just random after-thoughts. Even the title is sus as far as I'm concerned. And remember, if any of our memes are deemed good enough to stand the test of time, these elements will be edited out after many sharings & repostings.

The main reason tags exist is so that other people can see memes that are similar to yours. So idk what you’re talking about

Ok, fair point. I must admit I never thought about that. Myself, I usually just pick some random tags that I think may help support whatever the point of the meme is. Or maybe they add to the joke if it's meant to be a funny meme. The point I'm trying to make here is just that I don't think the meme should be judged (by MODS mostly)- by what tags may be attached to it. For example, I've seen plenty of memes that were marked NSFW by MODS, only because they did'nt like some tag(s)- even though the meme itself was completely harmless. I don't think that's fair.

Tags will display to all users right next to the meme, so it doesn't matter if the meme is fine if the tags contain profanity or something, because people will still see the profanity.
