A great target for humor .

Weird Al made a parody of "Gangsta's Paradise" with "Amish Paradise". Everybody knew that Amish people most likely wouldn't hear the song, because they don't have electronic devices allowing them to listen to the song!

Ironically, the song was still controversial, but the reason was because Coolio claimed he didn't grant permission for the song, and that Al ruined it. He later stated complaining about it was possibly the biggest mistake of his career.

I liked that song and it is not a mistake

Making parodies of songs is protected under the law, so Weird Al didn't actually need Coolio's permission to parody the song, but he always asks an artist for permission anyway as a professional courtesy

I don't think you are required to, but Al does it anyway as a gesture of a professional courtesy, so the artist gets something out of a popular parody song. Even Coolio received royalties from Al from his "Amish Paradise" parody, which helped cool the water between them (no pun intended).

To the mod that says that they don't get it, Amish people believe that they shouldn't use modern technology. So they don't use any digital devices. They cannot see this meme because they don't have internet or devices.

That is why they are easy targets
