What was he wearing? Did he know that he was being provocative? Why was he in that area at that time of day?

Stunning that they can't understand that it is literally impossible to be racist against a majority when it comes to random crime like this. There needs to be a declaration by the assailant of some sort that cueues us into the notion that he was specifically targeting white folk.

And no.

Just because over 70% of your community. (Or In my case ~90%) is white, doesn't mean that they're targeting white people. You ever play the "What color are M & M are you going to get out of the bag" game in elementary school? (Do they still even do that?)

I would agree for the most part. It's possible for someone in the minority to be racist. But yes, if all we see is one person attacking another, that alone doesn't mean it's because of their race

To be clear, I never said it wasn't possible. More, I was implying it's easier to assume racism on majority vs. minority than the reciprocal being that the odds of being at odds with the majority are higher than those of the minority.

As always, context is key. Right wing would have you think it isn't. They see a shifty ass world of proverbial black and white where those boundaries are constantly shifting to fit their hypocritic narrative.
