If it was really about babies, like you claim, we'd have free maternal healthcare, months of parental leave, free lactation consultants, free diapers, free formula.

There would be a better care system, more foster parents, more support for kids in care, fewer kids leaving care as drug addicts and victims of abuse.

Schools would be safer.
