It means Atheists have a 'bad habit' of actually referring to actual Scripture as opposed to  revisionist nonsense or even tales that were never there to begin with which so-called believers (AKA, pretenders) refer to in order to support a Roman corruption of the religion they stole, as foretold.

The meme was a rebuttal to a user who used bible passages out of context or giving a modern interpretation of 'spin' to written words outside of their historical context or the intent of the original authors. The Bible is a collection of literary works that are historical, literary, poetry, wisdom sayings, and written narrative, not a science book. The Bible was written by believers, and not from a scientific perspective.

The sceptics annotated bible isnt antitheist propaganda, rather i believe it is just the bible but atheistically commented, like when you read the iliad or shakespeare and there are comments for you to be able to get the points
