I've been rejected by a dude that I asked to prom before covid hit. I'm a girl and I really didn't care.

That was junior year, and prom was cancelled that year anyway. It was his loss because we had prom a few weeks after graduating, and I won the title of Prom Queen, so he missed out on dancing with "Queen Lili".

Just think about how unlikely it is that someone you like actually likes you back. Not as a mean insult, but if someone doesnn't get rejected, it's probably because the person who didn't reject them is being a kind person and giving them a chance to see if they like eachother mutually
