He says in the recording that he believed a riot-related impeachment resolution would likely pass, and says he would tell Trump: “It would be my recommendation that you should resign.”

Later, McCarthy said on another call with House GOP leadership that he had spoken to the president, and that Trump accepted some responsibility for the Capitol attack.

Saying that she would continue to prosecute a case that was pending before the court is not what communists do. When Putin arrested his political rival Navalny for daring to return to Russia after recovering from being poisoned by the FSB, is what communists do. Sending Navalny to a gulag without a charge, is what communists do. But, Putin is Trump's "Savvy Genius," so he is ok with you guys.

She had a case with the city. It was in all the papers. Even the ones you might read. She did not hide the fact that she would pursue it at the state level. The people of the State of New York thought that was a good idea and elected her AG. That's how democracies work. People who don't agree with you and I get elected by people who agree with them. Some of them break the law and some enforce it. That's the way people work. I support the one who enforces the law and you support the one who has a history of breaking the law and settling "out of court."
