it depends if the dub is good or not - for example, kimetsu no yaiba entertainment district arc dub. 10/10, would reccomend

I definitely prefer subtitles - but if I'm with people who prefer dubbing, I go along with it.

Geez... you're missing out on the Yu-Gi-Oh! dub. Man, is it a masterpiece (note that I didn't say a COMPLETE masterpiece: it has flaws).

Subbed means keeping the original language & putting subtitles on the screen; dubbed means removing the original voices & replacing them with western voice actors.

For me it depends on the anime. Some I just prefer dubbed and others subbed. Idk why :/
