Read Hedrick Smith's "The Russians."
I had the great fortune of working with Vladimir Zelman, M.D. in the late 1970's. Dr. Zelman was one of the top Anesthesiologists in the world, and the Chief of Anesthesiology at the Moscow Clinic where the top CCCP elite got medical treatment before he "defected," while at a medical conference in Rome. Because of his position of trust, he was allowed to take his family to Rome with him. A wealthy American he had met in Russia, helped put him in touch with the State Department. He became a "Protected Political Refugee." When I read "The Russians," decades later, it was like the conversations Dr. Zelman and I would have when he would come to my office for a cup of coffee. after surgery.
About 10-years ago I worked with a young Russian Refugee. Her mother invited some of us to their house for her birthday party. There were about 20 family members and friends there who were also refugees. They described the lingering effects of the old Soviet mentality, even after Glasnost.
Russia, under its current leader, the communist Putin, is the enemy of all people who support the concept of personal freedom. And, you are his agent and a troll for a bloodthirsty murderer. What i am not going to fall for is your line of excuses.
