After manual inspection, I didn’t expect Reddit to behave this way. I thought they were based enough to not care. In this case, I’m afraid Drizzy is right. I’ve looked into the users who got offended to see what kind of Reddit users they are.
Results:
Most are moody lgbtq+ teenagers upon inspecting their profiles. Handful claimed to be autistic.
Some people are unbased and controversial. One of them spread the news in a negative manner, cutting out important details (typical trying to be the good guy move). They downvoted people who doesn’t agree with their opinion or mentioning anything about them (referring to butter’s comment)
Listen to wholesome’s advice, you can ignore those kind of people. Use a non-offensive template next time because people can get mad over the littlest of things. It’s really funny how they call you the snowflake even though they spammed 7 cusses in a single comment with full caps. please read this, I’ve spent an hour going into this case (also please don’t let this get backlashed again).
Reddit tip: never respond too much in a argument/backlash. They will quickly assume you’re not reacting in a positive way
