In all the years I've heard this, I've yet to see a single breakdown for that claim as to how thats even remotely true
ESPECIALLY one that accounts for the 42.5 billion that will be shaved off by politicians, bureaucrats, the 500+ departments of every single nation that gets the money, corrupt governments, corrupt contracted companies, and the money that simply 'goes missing' on its way there.

For example, When accounting for inflation, subsaharan africa has received WAAAAAAYYYY more than that ALONE over what is literally now almost 100 years from over 50 nations, increasing every single year on end, both federally and privately.... its still poor and the people still have nothing.
Gave out $150,000 and 3 people got a bottle of water, a malaria pill and a protein bar. Thats basically what it amounts to.

43 Billion wouldn't fix even 1 nation...not even half.

Do you have even the slightest grasp on how much a billion dollars is, let alone 43 billion. When you can make that kind of purchase and still be a multi billionaire, that is not wealth you're in possession of, that's f**k you money.

I know exactly how much it is. Do you?
Because the continent itself receives FIFTY BILLION ANNUALLY from he world combined
and yet apparently 43 billion one-time is going to fix the entire planet?

Almost zero of the money ever given to Africa for aid went to the people who the money was intended for. In some specific cases it was a literal zero because the charities classified themselves as 'awareness' charities and others went directly into the hands of the corrupt leaders bank accounts.

Again, where is this supposed analysis of how 43 billion will end world poverty? and ideally the one that accounts for 99% of that money never making it to poor people?
The UN certainly hasn't managed it and they're the ones who made this idea up

So…. How much of your annual income above poverty level (USA standards) have you given to international charity?

Average working class people should be able to spend their money on whatever they want, billionaires that have hoarded enough wealth to end world hunger five times over shouldn't.

The Washington Post was one of the most notable acquisitions of Bezos' career, when he agreed to buy it for $250 million in 2013.

Mankind has always had, and always will have, the consequences of differences in individual human nature.

Charity is injurious unless it helps the recipient to become independent of it. – John D. Rockefeller

I believe in the dignity of labor, whether with head or hand; that the world owes no man a living, but that it owes every man an opportunity to make a living. — John D. Rockefeller

The only thing which is of lasting benefit to a man is that which he does for himself. Money which comes to him without effort on his part is seldom a benefit and often a curse. – John D. Rockefeller

“ There is no use whatsoever in trying to help people who do not help themselves.”. — Andrew Carnegie

“ People who are unable to motivate themselves must be content with mediocrity, no matter how impressive their other talents.”. — Andrew Carnegie

“ Of every thousand dollars spent in so called charity to-day, it is probable that $950 is unwisely spent; so spent, indeed as to produce the very evils which it proposes to mitigate or cure." — Andrew Carnegie

Hahahaha, you're showing your ignorance.

If we just focus on the CHILDREN who are living in poverty, we've got 270,000,000 mouths to feed. 43 billion dollars gives $159 to each child. How long is that going to last?

Maybe he meant 'end world poverty....for a long weekend' lol

Although lets be real, 43 billion leaves Elons bank account and about 10% of those kids get a dollar each (you know..after all the 'administration fees' and 'expenses' etc...)

Oh, I didn't want to complicate the math for those who are obviously challenged. Someone is definitely skimming off the top, then there are middle men, money managers, transaction fees, kickbacks, bribes...and then the usual government stuff.
