What would you have done with your family money had they been rich? He created and electric car industry, a commercial space industry and revitalize space travel.

He didn't work for any of it.  



He bough his way into the software payment  industry. Then sold it. 

Then used that money to buy his way into Tesla. Then forced the 2 engineers who actually designed the cars out of the company. 

Then he bought his way into a space company.  



He didn't start any of them. He didn't design or engineer anything. All of those industries were happening with or without him.

He was born 3/5ths of the way to Home from 3rd Base.  He has literally bought his success.
