Many of them would tell you that they are really, really against America being in debt. HowEVER, they would scream blue murder if you cut the subsidies and bloated programs that support their particular capital (or if you raised taxes on the richest .02% to pay down the deficit).

Yep. In The Netherlands rich people get subsidies in order to lower the cost of their mortgages. But they simply don't call them subsidies so that makes this government hand out okay. Quite hypocritcal really. Just like old people being against a basic income but receive a government pension, even if they haven't worked a day in their lives.

Nope. But The Netherlands is a tax haven for the rich. Many 'international' companies therefore have Dutch branches.
