Freedom of speech doesn’t encompass everything, you can’t yell “fire” in a theater. It is actually illegal to do so, hate speech against someone for their race, gender, religion, and sexuality (I think I’ve said it all but idk) you can be taken to court for hate speech and hate crimes. Will someone? No, trans people don’t do that. But they can.

You are correct in that freedom of speech ends when it calls to action. In the ever-popular "fire in a crowded theater" example, yelling a lie like fire when there is none is a call to immediate action and is not protected speech. "Hate speech" on the other hand, is not a call to immediate action. Regardless of how distasteful and/or vulgar it may be, a person has the right to say what they want provided it doesn't call to action. Can a person be taken to court over unpopular speech? Sure. People can be frivolously sued for just about anything however, this ambiguous "hate speech" is protected from retribution by the government. People can say tranny all they want, just like any other crass slur, but they won't be jailed for it provided there is no call to action.
