Honestly, they need to update the block feature. It’s not really that strong of a solution

Why? They didn't block you - what you're asking for is a "hide in the closet like a scared child" feature. So what if they can see your images?

How are you harmed if someone else can see your images?
What gives you the right to control what others can and cannot see?

Well my thought process goes a little something like this

-user is blocked
-blocked user can still keep tabs on someone, which was result of a stalking incident between to users

And I thought “why?” If the blocked person doesn’t block you back, they can still see your images, attempt to talk to you, basically everything they used to. And if the mods are gonna say “oh just block people you don’t like” then the block button should work in a way that it actually fully solves a problem, not this whole “I can see you so you can’t see me” kind of thing. It’s not a perfect solution and I can see by the other comment it needs work, I’m open to suggestions to make it work.

How does someone seeing your memes hurt you?

One sentence- people get obsessive as hell. I’ve seen it happen, I’ve experienced it myself.

Why does it matter so much for you to stop the people you block from seeing your profile?

If you already don’t get notifications from them, then it’s an “out of site, out of mind” mentality. Not a complete annihilation of your profile from someone’s view.

2 reasons
A- “out of sight out of mind” doesn’t mean “out of the problem” ignoring it just allows the problem to exist behind closed doors. Which AGAIN doesn’t actually fix anything. It’s more like a mere evasion of the problem.

B- because honestly, how effective is a block button as a “solution” when the blocked person can easily just…still keep tabs on you, look at cloud and Danny, it happened to me once. And for people who claim you should just block the person rather than fighting back, the mods made it SO easy to bypass the block button. So yeah, I’d like to see an update to it

Users you block aren't a ''problem.'' It just means you don't want to see them around, so you don't see them around. This is t h e solution. There's nothing more to it.
Your profile is public; this is a meme website. You can change what you see, you don't have a right to change what others see.

Ok but in the context OF a problem, I think there should be more to it than, I blocked user so they can stalk me and talk trash behind my back and I’ll never know, maybe there’s settings for that. All I know is, if the mods are gonna preach about how “oh- just block people you don’t like, don’t harass them” or some shit, it better be a decent solution. There’s no reason the block button works as like a “oh I got blocked…ok I can still see this persons stuff and comment” that’s just ludicrous to me

I think you're placing too much attention on what other people say - the internet isn't a nice place, and if you start calling for silencing people, you're just going to create more hatred towards yourself.

2- came to that conclusion, another reason why I thought this would be a decent change, to at least limit that on images I owned [NOTE: I say “I” but I really mean “in the case of me blocking someone or anyone blocking anyone]

You cannot control what other people feel or think, so why spend energy trying to do so?

Just give them a "You do you", a quick wave bye-bye, and click that block button - and move on with your life.

This is the entire reason I left facebook, it's filled with one-uppers who want you silenced because you don't agree with their every opinion. Let shitty people be shitty, because trying to change them - you might get some of it on yourself, which is what I see in your posts and comments here....someone argued with you and now you want to control what they're allowed to see and say.
