In 2011, around 467,321 people were victims of a crime involving a gun. While not exact, that would average out to nearly 5 million in the course of a decade. The real number is probably higher, given the progression of the liberal reduction in prosecuting crime of all sorts.
In the last decade, around 2500 crimes involving a "ghost gun" took place, or less than 1/10th of 1 percent.
Between the MSM deciding to cover the NY shooting, while the Bystander In Chief mumbles something about "ghost guns", no one is paying much attention to Hunter's laptop tying "the Big Guy" to various crimes against the US.
