tfw some dude leaves the city of Ur, Mesopotamia for middle-of-nowhere Canaan and his grandson becomes ancestor of a kingdom and then some guy named David and his son Solomon make the kingdom big and then it gets cut in half and then they start flip-flopping between monotheism and polytheism and then Assyria conquers most of them and then Babylon conquers the rest of them and then the Persians conquer Babylon and they can go back home and then the Greeks conquer Persia and they revolt against the Greeks and somehow win and then Rome conquers them and they revolt against Rome and fail and get scattered from their home for 2000 years and then they come home again and get into fights with the Arabs who apparently are also descendants of that one guy who left Ur but from a different son
