Sorry, I don't just mean that you don't upvote .... A lot of people don't bother .... I just wonder why ?

You usually never get points for up voting comments

Upvoting someone else’s comment gives them points. I just upvoted 7 of your comments. At 30 points per upvote, I just gave you 210 points.
You normally give the upvotes as a courtesy to the other person, not to build points yourself. Hopefully, the other person returns the favor and you both win :-)

I've only been posting on the site for three years and I still can't work out why some comments ( like your comments on comments) don't have the 'reply' on them ?

Don't understand either. Is there a limit on replies on any one comment?
Your 'That's disappointing' doesn't have a reply tab.

You're right ! It is a bit annoying but Ricky_out_loud explains why it happens

As far as the ‘reply’ button… you go about 10 replies deep into a thread, you only have the ‘flag’ button. Comments trail off to the right as things progress, but you run out of room, hence the removal of the reply button. I hope that makes sense.
