I still believe that it was staged. Chris leaned in and brace himself before Will even slapped him and afterwards they were both smiling/grinning when he was walking away. Also Will didn't slap him that hard, he threw a limp wrist smack.

But surely us keeping people distracted...

They needed something for Oscar's ratings. Cause you know, not many people give crap bout Oscars these days.
