Being able to date whomever you want is a fundamental right — the entire point of the LGBTQ movement, as I understand it. The idea that you simply *must* date trans people or you’re a bigot is a misconception. I haven’t encountered anyone saying that, but if there are people who claim to be in the LGBTQ community saying that, I wouldn’t support that. In a free society, you’re allowed to date whomever you want, whatever their background, and don’t have to justify or explain your preferences, period, end of story.
So, the SuperStraight identity is based on a misunderstanding of what LGBTQ is about. Most of the discourse out of SuperStraight seems inherently biased and fearful. In my opinion.
