What sub-genre does Judas Priest fit into? They TECHNICALLY are classic metal, but have albums that sound like hair metal or Thrash.

Just curious: Why are DM & Deathcore at S and Melodeath is in F? You just hate clean choruses or something?

oh, sorry. Melodic Death Metal. I started with lighter stuff (power, symphonic, metalcore, etc...) then moved on to Death Metal, but have recently been really into Melodic death as i find it's a nice midway point between the two. [mixed vocals, Classic heavy metal style riffs, Death Metal drums]. Was just curious what you don't like about the genre to put it in F (always looking for other perspectives on music)
