The genders of the Pokemon were irrelevant too, by the way. Even Nidoking and Nidoqueen had almost identicle stats and powersets.

Uhh, no? You said the original topic was Pokémon. The person posted this in the politics stream and therefore they just used it as a template. It had nothing to do with Pokémon in itself. The context was the current crises where we encourage body dysmorphia and plastic surgery instead of legitimate help. (Not to mention ruining women’s sports)
