Oh, that's nice. As an American who's served in the military, has never been to Russia, doesn't like Putin, and lives in a low rent apartment making less than $10 an hour (until recent) I sure am doing bad for a government backed troll. And I have way too much sadness for humanity to be a soulless robot. Also, Russian bots don't tend to post the occasional drawing on their website.
I mean they *could* and probably some do, but it's not a common habit. If anybody is getting suppressed by the government through the internet, it's me.
I consider myself a moderate who may have been historically conservative, but concerning economics my sympathies tend to lie more with my Millennial generation than with the Boomers. I may believe in some of the conspiracy theories they adopted or appropriated from the truther movement, but just because some short sighted MAGA hats clung to it 5 years ago doesn't mean those theories started with them (most started with like Old School hippies).
I didn't disagree with every last thing you posted on your site.
Even on some of the things you posted that I disagreed on, I think somewhere you had a point, and, hopefully, good intentions.
But even if modern leftists have a good point here, a good point there that I take with a grain of salt, that I entertain, the fact young modern far leftists have so much faith in government, the side of corporations they like (big tech, big pharma, dinosaur media) means that they're compromised at some points. Not everyone wakes up at once.
You know the left have become the warmongering Neocons of the Bush era when they have the same mindset. When somebody simply wants to avoid ww3 with Russia, when somebody doesn't want to make the same mistake we made in Syria (funding Nazis in Ukraine the same way we funded ISIS in Syria).
Some of you younger leftists need to hear yourself talking, right now. Immediately believe what government and corporations are telling you? Allying with the warhawks? Taking a position with little nuance, that silences dissent and holds questioning of authority or narratives in contempt? Being okay with censoring everything that goes against the narrative, dismissing it as Russian propaganda outright because your almighty government said so? Do you hear yourself speaking? I say this with concern! Even if you're right and I'm wrong, you need a healthier skepticism towards the people you're listening to!
