Fact: A male swimmer is dominating female swimmers in a female swimming competition.

My opinion: This one male swimmer is helping unravel the entire “trans movement” because he is so obviously a male.

Liberals: “Who are you gonna believe… me or your lying eyes”?

Would anyone care if he got knee-capped like Nancy Karrigan?
1 up, 3y
I would. I don’t want this big, tall, obviously male to stop dominating the women.

He is waking people up.

If he got knee-capped, all that stops.

There are male humans and female humans.

Just like every other species of mammals.

A male swimmer is dominating female swimmers. That is a fact.

Biologically, yes. But get over that already.

No. Normal people are not getting over this one. The unfairness is glaring.

OK, transphobes will never not exist. Got it.

It’s a matter of fairness in women’s sports.
3 ups, 3y
Do you even care about fairness in women’s sports?

Biologically yes?

So where's your issue? All our position holds is that biologically male people should not be in women's sports, since they will dominate because of the differences between men and women. I'm not saying that they are not equal, just saying that they are different.

People should be allowed to express themselves and be respected for who they are, which is what they are doing.

People should be allowed to express themselves. That doesn't, however, negate biological differences between male and female. No matter how many times you deny it, that pesky science will always come in and say that a man has XY chromosomes and a woman has XX.

OK, and this proves that people can't EXPRESS themselves and be RESPECTED to do so how?

Like I said, I believe that people should be able to express themselves. But biological differences are still present, and no amount of you trying to redefine the terms man and woman will change that. The athlete in question is still biologically a man and thus has a significant advantage over the real women in the competition. I'm not saying men and women are unequal, just that they're different

Well, just respect everyone's gender.
Act like they are their gender.
Just move on.
1 up, 3y
Okay, right after you act like I am the Overlord of the Universe.

I respect people because they are people. Everybody should be treated with kindness and respect, but not every idea is correct. Including the idea that a biological male who identifies as female is now a woman.

That’s just liberal bullshit.

I'm sorry you can't wrap your mind around the concept.
Whether you do or not, it still exists.
2 ups, 3y
Male/Female… there’s a concept that you don’t seem to grasp. Lol 😂 ya goof…

OOOOOOOOOOOH I get it.

Then I identify as the Overlord of the Universe and King of the Earth.

Accommodate me.

Good for you.
Now this doesn't mean you automatically rule over me, however.

Oh really?
You're not accepting my identity and the cuz I don't know power, responsibility, call it what you will that goes with said identity, so that means you're a transphobe. Just using your logic here.

I am accepting your identity, but not completely as I know you are using it to try to prove a point.
And I am basically the opposite of a transphobe.

Oh yeah, and now I identify as 70. I want my social security check now, thank you very much.

See, no matter how much I say I am 70, or the overlord of the universe, I won't be. There are certain parts of our personalities that we cannot change, no matter how much we deny it. I can SAY that I'm 70, but that doesn't make it true. The same goes for gender. If man said that he was a woman, that doesn't change his genes. And nothing will.

This is the government's choice, not mine, at this point.
There is a difference between sex and gender. Respect somebody's gender.
That's it. Respect them as they are. Move on.
This doesn't even directly affect you.
1 up, 3y
You missed my point.
I give them the same amount of respect that I give to everybody else. After all, as human beings, we have intrinsic value. But I will continue to acknowledge biological differences between the sexes. Even if a person says that they are "trans".

So because something doesn't directly affect me, I can't hold an opinion on it?
