Dan Price is an idiot - it's not a matter of 50 cents breaking my budget but the fact that I would use 14 gallons of gas every week if I had to go to my office 5 days a week. That's 56 gallons a month. That's an extra $28 a month on top of what I was paying.
Also, that 50 cents is on top of the $1.15 that gas has risen since Biden took power AND on top of the 8%+ inflation that our nation has been experiencing on all goods and services across the board since Biden took over.
Patrick Allcorn is a bit closer to the truth. In my situation, though, it's not that I can't afford to live closer to my job it's just that I don't want to. My three adult children live on this side of town and I'd rather be close to them than close to my job.
