The idea of drugs being smuggled across vast open stretches of desert is pretty much a myth. It happens, but much less often than people think. It’s easier to smuggle drugs in through busy “ports of entry”: Official border crossings, airports, etc., where there are lots of people.

Which is why it makes more sense to invest in more Customs agents and tech at the ports of entry… which is exactly what Democrats proposed in response to Trump’s silly fixation on a “wall.”

A fact check from USA Today misrepresenting facts to spread another hate Trump article... of course there is no policy that will stop the flow of drugs, but letting the border be wide open and pulling most of our border patrol resources to help curtail the flow of children trying to save their lives as the cartels risk the lives of the people they are "trying to help" is the absolute worst idea... if the flow of drugs mostly flows through legal ports it would be a good idea to get every entry through a legal port... there is absolutly nothing you can reply with or "show me proof" of or "let me read" that will change the things I've seen personally or have been effected by personally so you can stop trying, Democrats have failed policies that are destroying and upending the lives of many Americans and people all across the globe...
