First off, that’s not specifically republican. many republicans support lgbt these days. Actually many lgbt people are becoming republican because they’re realizing they have more in common with republicans than democrats
(sorry, i just get a lot of notifications about lgbt activists so i just felt i had to say that)

Well... In my opinion (which has changed many times recently), there are 2 main genders and a rare case of the 3rd, which is being born transgender. I accept/respect anyone who wants to identify as nonbinary or any other gender/pronouns that identify an individual, as long as they politely let me know.
I have friends/family who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and they agree that it's about the way you approach identifying yourself.
I also don't agree that being nonbinary will set you up for total failure, as it might be hard, with some people might not be as accepting to LGTBQ+, but do not rely on others to put you down, as you have to work hard and make life the best it can be.
