Well... In my opinion (which has changed many times recently), there are 2 main genders and a rare case of the 3rd, which is being born transgender. I accept/respect anyone who wants to identify as nonbinary or any other gender/pronouns that identify an individual, as long as they politely let me know.
I have friends/family who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and they agree that it's about the way you approach identifying yourself.
I also don't agree that being nonbinary will set you up for total failure, as it might be hard, with some people might not be as accepting to LGTBQ+, but do not rely on others to put you down, as you have to work hard and make life the best it can be.
