Me simply not wanting to fund Nazis with my tax dollars automatically makes me a Putin puppet, when I'm really just remembering how things went when we funded ISIS to overthrow Assad. I have no love for Putin, but some people just don't get that I don't like the idea of my tax dollars funding a Nazi regime installed by western backed coup to sacrifice the Ukrainian people in a war they will lose, just to bleed Putin so we can go to war with him later and start a nuclear third world war that could lead to an extinction level event. No everything gets turned into me blindly supporting Putin for some reason.
I had a friend who was a center left feminist. She was no fan of Trump. Thing is, tho, is that when she said she, as a victim of sexual assault, felt uneasy about Biden, that he might be a pedophile or sex offender (some people, especially women, can detect energy), her female friends went full Karen on her and called her a Trump supporter.
It was sad hearing her story. See, she originally didn't like Hillary Clinton. In her terms, Hillary represented "the man" (the corrupt establishment), but the only reason why she didn't vote for Trump was because his talk brought back too many bad memories of her previous sexual assault.
So the fact that her friends called her a Trump supporter just because she got bad vibes from Biden? Yeah, that sucked. I don't know if I agreed with her on everything, but that sounded disappointing.
Nobody's perfect, but a lot of us Americans seem to have short attention spans.
