If the owner needs more help running the site he might ask the current mods if they recomend anyone. We take a look at users who have been here a good amount of time, don't have any TOS infractions, get along well with others, have experience running various streams and are over 18 or 21
We discuss it for a few days then the person can send a formal request to the site owner.

How does the formal request work to become the community mod? I'm usually 18 right now. Well, I'll be fine if this happens. I won't be excited, but I'm providing explanation and examples for users. That's all I'm saying.

Well, the current mods will be asked if they think someone who has the potential to be a community mod. Then, after that, if they have been on the site long enough, have a max of 1 or 2 TOS infractions, cooperates with others, and have the abilities to run various streams.

If not, they choose a random person with good standings on the site and ask them.

Additionally. As the site grows, more community mod positions may become available. Although, I do not know if its a population number or a complaint number that makes Dylan think more mods are needed.
