Neo-Nazis, fascists and white nationalists all place themselves on the right. That’s why those GOP politicians were able to speak to their crowd. Typically if Democratic/liberal politicians are racist, it’s not consistent with ideology but rather ignorance and not knowing how to actually tackle race issues.

All liberals are right of center. The distinction is that Republicans are more okay with overt racism, democrats tend toward patronizing racism.
