After he dropped them and caused oil to get expensive again, making Russia tons of money.

So doing the sanction now doesn't mean squat because Putin already got the money he would've lost if BIden hadn't been dumber than a ton of bricks.

Yup. I watched a 2019 conference with European leaders where Trump was explaining the reason for the sanctions, and how dangerous Russia could be if the EU became too dependent on Russian energy.
