Agreed. Although to be honest, all those things Putin shares with the past 8 US Presidents. Stalin, eg "Putin 1.0 alpha", was a thug, yes. He was the thug that eliminated 80+% of the Wehrmacht (Nazi armies) and military overall- with his Red Army. The cost was great to the communists- 47 million lives lost, the overwhelming majority o them civilian. Women could vote in Russia, starting in 1917, and they were expected to fight as well- many Soviet women were motivated by the 10 million of their countrywomen who were raped, and made for great snipers. The USA and UK, in contrast, lost about a half million each. None of this is controversial- it just isn't particularly popular to mention in the USA.
