Yep. I always pick up an image from there and 3 from internet. I believe it gives a little more energy on the image. Not only the sacrifice there, but in all the war, from both sides (Allies and Axis).
Yep. No matter which side they were fighting for, no matter who was right or wrong, they were all young kids fighting for their country in a sad and pointless war. RIP to all of them. 😞😞
The first US land operation on Japanese ground began on Iwo Jima island on the 16th of February, 1945. American troops had to fight through the heavily fortified Japanese defenses.
