I haven't been to the garlic festival but I've been to Gilroy a number of times. It's not too far from where I grew up

It's usually hot as Hell but a fun time. They put garlic on everything. My first time there was my discovery of pickled garlic. It's so good.

Spicy hot or like summer hot?

A bit of both if you know where to look. I recall some vendor had habanero stuffed olives one year.

I love garlic but I'm not as much into spicy foods
