Omicron may be more infectious but in most people it is about as bad as the common flu. This is why everyone just stopped caring about masks and social distancing, except for Democrats. Democrats hate losing all of that power they once usurped. There are hold outs like the airlines and teachers unions.
For the most part the vast majority of people are done with the pandemic. It doesn't matter if the pandemic is still happening, in the lives of most people it is finished. It is over with.
Trudeau just cannot deal with losing that power so much so that he as usurped more power than any Canadian prime minister before him. At this point there really isn't any difference between Trudeau and Putin or Trudeau and Fidel Castro (who some are claiming is Trudeau's real father).
When you see what Marxism is doing in Canada (and make no mistake, Trudeau is a Marxist, everything he is doing Marx would have done) why would anyone in their right mind want that here?? Do people really despise freedom that much? Do they even understand that they are forfeiting their freedom to the state under Marxism? Do they even know how much freedom they have taken from all of us over the last century?
Freedom is NOT the natural state of human history. That is why it must be fought for every day. From the early days of mankind there have always been those who are driven to dominate others. They declare themselves Kings, Queens, Emperors, Ceasers, whatever. They get their power because people let them take their freedom away. Those people exist today and are always attracted to political power. Even one of the champions of freedom, Thomas Jefferson, complained at how little power the office of the president of the United States had when he was elected. Presidents have usurped much more power over the years to the point where Obama started making laws through executive orders and executive actions.
If you place any value on freedom at all, then you MUST reject the Democrat party, Marxism, socialism, fascism, Nazism and communism. It does not matter if you are called a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a bigot the rest of your life. Those are just words used to maintain power and control over you.
I would add with the number of those called RINO's in the Republican party, that unless you vote about 80% of those people out of office, then freedom lovers have no business with the Republican party either.
